ACC Rebuild Project Complete

 Introduction

The ACC Rebuild Project is officially complete, marking the successful restoration of one of Duvall's most cherished community landmarks. The renewed campus now welcomes visitors with thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces that support gathering, reflection, and play while honoring the church's rich history. The completed landscape includes an inviting entry plaza with built-in seating and a fire feature, terraced rockeries that gracefully manage the site's grade transitions, and evergreen plantings that provide year-round privacy and beauty. Together, these elements create a warm and welcoming environment for the congregation and the broader community.

To celebrate this milestone, the church recently hosted an open house, welcoming congregation members, neighbors, and project partners to experience the completed campus firsthand. The event recognized the collective effort that brought the project to life and celebrated the beginning of a new chapter for this historic site.

The completion of the project represents the culmination of a journey that began with tremendous loss. For more than 100 years, the church has been a fixture in Duvall—an anchor for the community rather than just a building. Originally built in 1913, not long after the town was founded, its iconic steeple became a familiar part of the local landscape and a symbol of the generations who gathered there. In 2020, a devastating fire destroyed the historic structure, leaving a profound loss felt throughout the community.
